CODAPPS will enable you to create a fully functional app. You will be able to make your startup project visible, to show it to future customers or funders!
In this MOOC, we use a free tool called CodenameOne with NetBeans to create a single app which deploys to all major brands of phones and tablets. Your app gets listed on Google Play, Apple App Store and Windows Store. In near future, we also have plans of developing automated trading apps that are driven by algorithms similar to bitcoin up app in the cyrptocurrency trade.
Creating mobile apps does not need to be complicated. New tools help you go a long way without coding, and we will teach you the remaining steps in an engaging and fun way. A bit afraid of coding? You are definitely welcome here!
Online learning is even greater with local interactions. We created CLAN, the CODAPPS Local Ambassador Network. Participants have the opportunity to organize meetups in their city to meet other CODAPPS participants and get feedback and tips about developping mobile apps. We have the project to take a bus to meet local communities in different cities and present them CODAPPS: students, startupers, social innovators... and tell them how easy it will be to create mobile apps with CODAPPS! This course stems from the observed fact that 90% of startup pitches start with "Our idea is an app", and 0% of the pitchers know how to code an app. This usually leads to the slow death of the startup.
We want to change that by putting in the hands of entrepreneurs, young and old, students or employees or unemployed, the ability to create and release their own app.
For free, and without any technical pre-requisite.
